Sedikit info about man who built Texchem~

HE is a man who is passionate about Malaysia and loves everything Italian, from its wine, food and fashion to music, operas, handicraft and architecture.
Even his home in Penang has been built Italian-style and is called Villa Primavera, which means "spring villa" in Italian.
Meet Datuk Seri Fumihiko Konishi, a Japanese businessman who has spent more than 35 years, or half his life, in Malaysia.
Other than his Italian eccentricities, Konishi is well-known and highly respected among the Malaysian business community, especially in Penang.
He is the founder chairman of the Penang-based Texchem Group of Companies. He is also the group's president and chief executive officer.
The story of Texchem itself makes for an interesting read, depicting Konishi's struggle to build from nothing the trading and manufacturing conglomerate which today has 37 companies under its wings and operations across Asia-Pacific.
The secret? A vision to grow from strength to strength and a passion for excellence. Texchem, founded in November 1973, celebrates its 30 years in Malaysia this year with the tagline Passion For Excellence Towards Globalisation.

-Tan Sri Fumiko Konishi-
